Company Manager sought for Island Moving Co.
Island Moving Co., Newport, RI's resident contemporary ballet company, seeks a Company Manager to work with the Artistic Director and Executive Director to manage this professional performing company of eight dancers. The Company Manager is the spider in the web for office management, Board communications, production, and recordkeeping, requiring organizational and negotiating skills as well as facility with Microsoft Office. The Company Manager handles day to day management, contracts and scheduling for the Company's 30 week season of performance, rehearsal and work in the schools. Reports to the Executive Director and Artistic Director; works with volunteers, bookkeeper, office assistant, production staff and booking staff.
Position will average 30 hours a week depending on production demands. No benefits. Send resume; interviews in January, 2008. Salary and performance review June, 2008.
