Guest companies from around the country join IMC at the intimate and historic Great Friends Meeting House, Newport.

 Providence choreographer Colleen Cavanaugh will choreograph a piece for all the dancers at the Festival, which will premiere the second weekend.  Festival activities include choreographers talk backs after each show; rehearsals at the IMC studio and the Great Friends Meeting House open to the public; a Masterclass Workshop July 19-21 featuring classes taught by Festival choreographers and guests.  Island Moving Co. premieres a new work by Miki Ohlsen and performs her new "Struggle for Comfort," which premiered this spring at the Casino Theatre.

Parking is available on Farewell Street and on Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard.  Handicapped parking available at the Meeting House.
