A luminous evening of performance in the magical gardens of Bellevue House, Ron Fleming's home at 304 Bellevue Avenue, Newport. "Curtain" is at 7:30pm in the garden, where the Island Moving Co. dancers will perform among the allees, follies and pools of the gardens, joined by musicians, singers, and artists from our community. At 9pm, we enter the glowing tent, where a live auction will be swiftly followed by dancing to New York's Tin Pan Band.

A magnificent beginning to our 31st season, an evening at Rosecliff with a full performance in the gorgeous ballroom of works from the repertoire plus the premiere of "In the Beginning" by Providence choreographer Mark Harootian. The evening includes an intermission catered by Blackstone Caterers, drinks at an open bar and live music by our own minstrel Naseer Ashraf. Our summer party will be held this year at Bellevue House, where owner Ronald Lee Fleming has created a magical wonderland of allees, follies, fountains and nymphaea. What's a nymphaeum, you ask? You'll have to come to the party and find out. Not to be missed. Featuring performances by the Island Moving Co. dancers, the infectious dancing music of New York's Tin Pan and many surprises, it's not your grandmother's Newport gala. Tickets will be on sale soon.

Island Moving Co. returns to the glorious setting of Doris Duke's home by the Atlantic Ocean, Rough Point, for a sumptuous cocktail party in celebration of our 30th Anniversary. "It's So Newport" is our tribute to our home town, where, for the dancers, every landscape is a theatre, every mansion is a stageset. There will be appearances by the Island Moving Co. dancers, hors d'oeuvres by Tom's Market, Very Newport prizes and a stunning painting of Doris Duke's back yard by Joan Boghossian to be won. Throwing Ourselves a 30th Birthday Party - The World is Your Oyster
Island Moving Co. is planning a summer birthday party for all our friends. We'll be at the stunning Restoration Hall of the International Yacht Restoration School on Friday, July 13th. A performance you'll never forget, plus dinner, and dancing to fabulous music by New York's Tin Pan Band. Listen to the band here. Tickets start at $225; after dinner dancing tickets are $75. Bring a handful of your friends (10) to after dinner dancing at 9pm and pay $700 for all.
Cocktails, dinner and performance begin at 6:30; after dinner dancing and open bar begins at 9pm. Dancing till midnight.

Co Chairs Christine Capozzi and Ellen Barnes welcomed over 100 guests to "Puttin on the Ritz" at Rough Point on October 1st, to celebrate the 10th anniversary season of IMC’s Newport Nutcracker at Rosecliff. The evening raised over $15,000 for the Company and introduced the Company to new friends from all over the state.
